Happy Summer! 

Okay now that I am off for the summer I am going  try and post pictures of all my summer projects!

 Here is the first one:

 

This was an plain green (ugly!) metal star that I painted and decoupaged with scrapbook paper! I think it really turned out cute!

Supplies:

• Metal Star

• Acrylic paint

(I used Martha Stewart acrylic satin in Beach Glass)

• Your favorite scrapbook paper. I used a combination of "Hometown Summer" by Pink Paislee,"Early Bird" and "Garden Variety" by Cosmo Cricket.

Scrapbook 12x12 Beachy Layout

Here is the 2nd part of the layout I posted a couple days ago! But this time I tried the project life type layout with the divided protectors and I used the Simple Stories Snap Life and Snap Color Vibe Collections! I really like this way of putting a layout together. It came together much quicker than my regular 12x12's! 

Materials:

• Simple Stories Snap Life Collection.
• Simple Stories Snap Color Vibe Collection.
• Reminisce "Little Miss Crabby" Collection.
• Close to My Heart,"It's Your Day" Stamp set for the "LOVE THIS" stamp.
• Technique Tuesday " Kids are Cool" by Ali Edwards.
• Plain pink cardstock.
• Doodlebug Rainbow Washi tape.

Hello! I am finally posting something! Yikes, it has been forever. I really seem to have trouble with taking nice pictures of the things I want to post and I get frustrated and then just give up! So, I am going to have to try and figure it out. Anyway this isn't a great picture, but Oh well, I'm posting it anyway:) 

This is a 12x12 layout created for a picture of my daughter at the beach. She was not having a good day:( The sand on her feet had her very upset:))

Pencil Sharpener Review

Hello! Today I wanted to tell you about a new product that I have found and really like!

It is a Pencil Sharpener from the website, http://www.classroomfriendlysupplies.com/.

I really like how quickly it sharpens colored pencils and standard size pencils! It comes in a few different colors and would be a great addition to any classroom or home!

Christmas Wreaths

Here are some Christmas wreaths I made for my kids bedroom doors! I bought the super cute wreaths at Target and then I used my cricut and paper and decorated them with themes that go along with my kids interests! I had a lot of fun making them and now there hallway looks really cute!
